Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa (transl Kneel On The Ground) is an Philippine television drama action period series to be broadcast by TV5. Director by Albert Langitan. It stars Kiko Estrada in the title role. It premiered on April 8, 2024 replacing by Pira-Pirasong Paraiso on the network's Hapon Champion block lineup. It was replaced by Quizmosa in it's timeslot. It moved to a new timeslot in June 24, 2024 on the network's TodoMax Primetime Singko block lineup replacing Suntok Sa Buwan[1]. It is the longest running Primetime action drama of TV5.

The series is streaming via CignalPlay and free online on YouTube.

Pilot[]

Norman Dela Cruz aims of becoming a lawyer. Norman's life takes a dramatic turn when a land dispute between his mother Tacing and her estranged brother Benito Balmores ends in tragedy. Determined to avenge his mother, Norman finds himself conflicted as he falls for Benito's daughter, Mercy Balmores, who is now married to Miguel Aguirre. As Norman, now known as the successful lawyer Abraham Espiritu, grapples with his desire for revenge and his suppressed feelings for Mercy, the boundaries between justice and love blur.[2]

Production[]

The series was initially announced during the TV5 Passion Festival on November 17, 2023. Sari Sari Productions and Studio Viva held a story conference and official media announcement to introduce the cast members.

Principal photography commenced in January 2024.

Casting[]

On June 20, 2024, 3Q TV5 Trade Launch the actresses Miles Ocampo, Kira Balinger, and Gillian Vicencio for actors Jameson Blake, and Joao Constancia, made an appearance as respectively, who all originated from the Philippine television comedy drama series Padyak Princess.

Reception[]

According to Nielsen NUTAM People Survey, the pilot episode of Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa earned a 1.3%.
