Frontline Pilipinas is a Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by TV5. The program is currently anchored by Cheryl Cosim, Julius Babao and Jiggy Manicad. The newscast premiered on October 5, 2020, replacing Aksyon. It is also simulcast through the Filipino-language news channel One PH and English-language news channel One News. Raffy Tulfo is a previous anchor of the newscast.

The newscast continues the tradition of sign language interpretation that News5 pioneered during the launch of now-defunct Aksyon a decade earlier.

History

Frontline Pilipinas premiered on October 5, 2020 at 6:30pm with Tulfo and Cosim serving as anchors. The newscast was later moved to a 5:30pm timeslot by March 2021.

On October 1, 2021, Tulfo left the newscast to run for Senator in the 2022 elections; he eventually ranked 3rd in the senatorial race behind Robin Padilla and Loren Legarda. On February 7, 2022, Julius Babao joined the newscast as Tulfo's replacement.

On May 22, 2023, the newscast moved to a 6:30pm timeslot with an extended 90-minute runtime in order to compete with other newscasts like ABS-CBN's TV Patrol and GMA Network's 24 Oras.

On December 7, 2023, it was confirmed that Jiggy Manicad signed a contract with TV5 Network and made his comeback to journalism. He would later become a main anchor on January 7, 2024, as part of being able to compete with other primetime newscasts.

On July 1, 2024, the newscast's last 30 minutes were cut on TV5 and One PH to give way to Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa and Forensics.
